Leeton Plaza is a regional mall that was undergoing major renovations to revitalise it and attract new tenants and customers. The challenge was to help re-position the plaza as a vibrant, revitalised destination, appealing to younger families but not alienating the older generation.
The new brand identity was part of the substantial aesthetic upgrade. Wanting to put the community at the heart of the upgrade, we looked to the community for inspiration – in particular the town plan (designed by Walter Burley Griffin) – to create an identity that was uniquely local.
The plaza now has a new anchor tenant (Aldi) and the successful aesthetic renewal has been very well received by the Leeton community.
